Baker Vows To Quit Cake Making After Discrimination Case

A baker has vowed to quit making wedding cakes after he lost a discrimination case for refusing to make a cake for a gay couple.

The baker, 57-year-old Jack Phillips, based in Denver Colorado, was sued by David Mullins and Charlie Craig after he refused to make a wedding cake for the couple.

In a landmark case, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission unanimously declared that free speech and business should be separate.

It is understood that Mr Phillips has decided to given up baking wedding cakes so avoid being "forced to participate" in same-sex weddings.
