The McBusted singer shared the news as part of an ITV2 documentary 'Fearne and... McBusted', which aired on Wednesday night.
Speculation has surrounded the couple for a few months, with many claiming they were in a relationship after they were spotted out together on a number of occasions. In April, Goulding, 27, said that she was single, but when he was asked about his relationship, Poynter told the documentary's host – Fearne Cotton: "Yeah. All is good in that area... I don't know how much I like talking about it, but yeah, all is good. All is very, very good."
When pressed further as to why he wants to keep the romance out of the spotlight, the 26-year-old added: "I haven't really thought about it too much. It's just a no brainer. It's just normal. It's whatever anyone else is getting up to."
