The 41-year-old singer-turned-television personality made the admission in his weekly magazine column for New! magazine, writing: "I've been asked if Ems and I would consider a home birth if we were to have another child.
"I think we would, but it's different for us because her mum is a paediatrician."
Andre, who is a father of three, also referred to recent new draft guidelines from the NHS which suggest that more women should have home births.
He continued: "It's been advised that low risk women should be encouraged to give birth at home and that it's as safe as hospital and much more pleasant. This is a subject that would be good to discuss with Ems because she would know.
"I might be wrong, but I think many women would feel safer giving birth in a hospital. They might feel having their baby at home is a bit primitive. I think the NHS needs to emphasise how safe it is."
Andre and MacDonagh, 24, welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Amelia in January. The singer is also a dad to daughter Princess, six, and son Junior, eight, from his former marriage to Katie Price.
