According to The Sun, the former glamour model recently attended her six-month scan, where she told the news. It is also being reported that Price, 35, attended the scan alone.
A source is quoted by the publication as saying: "It was a bittersweet journey for Katie but she was so excited to find out she's having another daughter.
"Of course Kieran should have been with her, but things have changed.
"For days after she found out about Kieran she could barely stomach food, she was so heartbroken. But she's determined now to stay fit and healthy for her little girl.
"She just wants things to be as normal as they can possibly be for the rest of the pregnancy. She was so excited to find out she's having another daughter."
Earlier this month, Price revealed she was pregnant with her fifth child – her second with husband Kieran Hayler. However, just days later, she took to Twitter to publicly shame her husband and her best friend after she discovered the couple had carried out a seven-month affair.
Price and Hayler married in the Bahamas in January 2013, just weeks after they started dating. They welcomed their first child together, a son named Jett Riveria, in August 2013. While it was the first child for Hayler, Price is also a mother to Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and six-year-old Princess from previous relationships.
