Rory McIlroy will marry his fiancée Caroline Wozniacki this summer it has been reported.
The couple, who have been engaged since New Year's Day, are to walk down the aisle in August, according to Independent.ie.
A source close to the young couple confirmed the plans.
It is understood the wedding will be held abroad, but up to 200 guests are expected to attend the nuptials, with many famous faces believed to be on the guest list.
The source is quoted by the publication as saying: "Rory is marrying Caroline in late August.
"They've only been engaged a few months, but they're both keen to make it official and are planning a spectacular day for guests.
"They're keeping their invite list under wraps for now for security reasons because it includes some A-list superstars from around the world."
In an interview last month, 23-year-old Wozniacki told Lime magazine that she would like to marry her partner as soon as possible as she wanted to start a family.
She explained: "I want to be a relatively young mother, and I do not see it as being too far in the future. Therefore I have no dream to make my mark [in tennis]. Instead, I enjoy economic freedom my hard work has given me.
"It means I can give my children the best start in life by being there 100 per cent for them."
McIlroy, 24, and Wozniacki have been in a relationship since 2011. They became engaged on 31 December 2013 on a holiday to Sydney.
