The 35-year-old took to Twitter last week to publicly shame her partner – as well as her best friend Jane Pountney – after she discovered the pair were having an affair.
The affair is understood to have lasted for seven months.
Since revealing the news, Price has kept a low profile and while she did not write her usual column for Now magazine this week, she did release a short statement.
She wrote: "I want to thank readers for all your messages of support. It's been overwhelming.
"The past week has been so difficult and at this time it's all too raw to talk about.
"I need some time and space. But I will be back next week. Thanks for your understanding."
News of Hayler's infidelity came just days after his wife confirmed they were expecting their second child together.
The couple married in the Bahamas in January 2013, just weeks after they started dating. They welcomed their first child together, a son named Jett Riveria, in August 2013. While it was the first child for Hayler, Price is also a mother to Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and six-year-old Princess from previous relationships.
