Jersey Shore star Snooki has revealed she is expecting a baby girl.
The reality television star announced the news via her official website.
Snooki and her fiancé Jionni LaValle shared the happy news via a YouTube video on the site. LaValle had filled a bucket with balloons, which the expectant mother then opened to reveal their colour was pink.
He then joked: "Oh God, kill me! I don't know how I feel about it. I'm terrified! But really excited."
Speaking afterwards to ABC News, the 26-year-old admitted that she is "excited".
"I'm excited about having a little best friend to shop with and just do girlie things with", adding that her partner is "nervous... Like every father having a daughter is! They are more complicated!"
Snooki and LaValle are already parents to a son, Lorenzo, who was born in August 2012.
