The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star Mario Falcone has revealed he is smitten with a new woman in his life.
The reality television star made the admission during an interview on ITV's This Morning on Thursday. It is thought the woman is called Sophie, who Falcone recently met during a holiday to Dubai.
He explained: "I came back from Dubai two days ago. I've been trying to find a girlfriend for ages. It's been a struggle. I can't find someone I can connect ti like I did with [ex-girlfriend] Lucy [Mecklenburgh].
"I was trying too hard. I said to the boys, 'Let's go to Dubai, have boy time, nothing to do with girls! Then, on the second day, I meet this girl called Sophie and she was amazing.
"I'm flying back in three weeks already to see her."
No further details were given about the mysterious Sophie however, as host Philip Schofield advised the star to keep the relationship – if he is serious about it – out of the spotlight. A quick look at the TOWIE star's Twitter account though, shows Falcone has retweeted a message from a girl named Sophie Lily which reads: "The 3 week countdown begins #ticktock."
Another tweet shows Falcone has shared a photo of himself and Sophie enjoying a day out, getting up close and personal with some dolphins.
And when it comes to the reasoning behind the change in his "lothario" image, Falcone admitted he wants a relationship like that of his sister, Giovanna, who is married to her childhood sweetheart Tom Fletcher and have an eight-week-old son, Buzz, together.
He explained: "Obviously the public know me as Mario the lothario, I love women and all that. To a certain degree, it's true. But Buzz coming into my life, I look at him and think, if I can love someone that much I can't wait to have kids. That would mean for me to settle down and have someone to have kids with and be part of my family.
"I've had my fun and had a great time with my friends doing all the stuff boys should do at a young age, but now I'm ready to settle down and find the right person. Have what Giovanna and Tom have."
