The tennis star, who is engaged to former world number one golfer Rory McIlroy, made the revelation in an interview with Lime magazine.
The 23-year-old and her fiancé have been in a relationship for three years and announced their engagement on New Year's Eve. Now though, it seems Wozniacki who has had a successful career yet never won a Grand Slam tournament, is moving her attention away from her career and towards family.
She said: "I want to be a relatively young mother. I do not see it as being too far in the future.
"Therefore I have no dream to make my mark. Instead, I enjoy economic freedom my hard work has given me. It means I can give my children the best start in life by being there 100% for them.
"When you start playing, everything is new and it's easy to find the motivation. Now, it's about finding the desire to play – and if you don't have that, you may as well give up."
