Katherine Jenkins Confirms Engagement

Katherine Jenkins has confirmed she is engaged to her boyfriend Andrew Levitas.

News of the engagement has come as a surprise, as it was only last month that the couple went public with their relationship. Levitas, who is understood to be an American film producer, accompanied Jenkins, 33, to collect her OBE at Buckingham Palace.


However, taking to her Twitter account, the classical singer thanked her friends and followers for their "lovely wishes of congratulations".

She wrote: "Thank you for all your lovely wishes of congratulations. They mean so much to us. Happy Easter!"

Jenkins was previously engaged to television presenter Gethin Jones, before they separated in December 2011.
