Taking to her Twitter account, the British actress uploaded a photo of herself cradling her newborn.
It is the first public photo of Booker since he was born last month.
In March, Newton and her husband, Ol Parker, confirmed they had become parents for the third time. Shortly after the birth, the 41-year-old told her followers: "My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint – and Carole Goddard. Keep independent midwifery alive!"
Parker added: "We had a baby, that's a beautiful thing. He's called Booker, and while he doesn't do much yet, I suspect him to be awesome.
"Many thanks for all the new baby wishes I haven't replied to personally. For taking the time, and sending the love; both much appreciated."
Newton and Parker married in 1998. They have three children together, Ripley, 13, nine-year-old Nico and Booker, who was born on 3 March 2014.
