The mother's boyfriend is understood to be just 13-years-old.
According to a report in The Sun, the couple – who cannot be named for legal reasons – are thought to have become Britain's youngest parents.
The newspaper said the girl fell pregnant at the age of 11 and gave birth to her daughter on Sunday. The baby weighed 7lb 4oz.
A source is quoted by the publication as saying: "The baby's mum and dad have been in a relationship for more than a year, so this isn't a fleeting romance. They intend to stick together and bring their daughter up together.
"They're very into each other, totally in love. She's in Year 7, he's in Year 9 at a different school."
It is understood the girl, who lives at home with her mother, 27, went to a register office on Tuesday to register the birth. The girl's mother is said to be supportive of the couple, who started dating when they were just 10.
