It has been reported that guests attending the upcoming nuptials of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will receive some lavish wedding gifts in the run up to the ceremony.
According to British magazine Grazia, the couple, who plan to marry in Paris this May, have hired the 199-room Trianon Palace Hotel for their 200 guests. The hotel is located just minutes away from the Palace of Versailles and its most expensive suites are said to cost £4,000 a night.
A source is quoted by the publication as saying: "The hotel is very grand, with beautiful views. Guests will be greeted with goodie bags containing £300 vintage bottles of Bollinger, £120 Crème de la Mer products, handmade souvenir trinkets with Kim and Kanye's initials etched in Swarovski crystals, bottles of scent from local perfumeries and £150 vouchers for treatments at the hotel spa."
It is also claimed that West has organised for a fleet of private jets to fly guests to the couple's wedding, while the £600 wedding invitations have finally been sent out to guests.
The source added: "Kim and Kanye wanted the invites to be as lavish as possible and commissioned a couture designer to create gold silk boxes containing a photo album of their fairytale romance and a silk invite etched in real gold leaf with a clasp of natural pearls."
Pearls were the preferred choice as it is the birthstone of Kimye's daughter, North.
Kardashian and West started dating in April 2012. In December 2012, it was confirmed the couple were expecting their first child together. They welcomed a daughter, North 'Nori' West, the following June and in October 2013 the pair announced their engagement.
