On Monday night, the couple, who were previously engaged, shared a selfie of themselves in bed together on social networking site Instagram. The pair shows Essex lying in bed topless while snuggling up to Faiers, while she is wearing her pyjamas and smiling at the camera.
There has been speculation in recent weeks that the couple have reunited after Faiers was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. They have also been spotted together numerous times, including a romantic date last month.
In addition, while Essex neither confirmed nor denied the couple have reunited, speaking on Loose Women last month, he cryptically said: "I'll always care for Sam. Always. All my life. She's a lovely girl and we spent a lot of time together in our years. We've always loved each other and stuff.
"We're just seeing how things go and I'm just there for her to keep her happy."
