According to the Irish Mirror, the 35-year-old musician asked his model girlfriend to marry him last month.
The couple have been in a relationship for two years and are said to be planning an intimate ceremony with their family and close friends in attendance.
A source is quoted by the paper as saying: "They're really loved-up and are already planning to get married in a secret London location.
"Of course Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow will be there, as will the rest of the band and a selection of close friends from the group's intimate circle."
Neither Berryman or Gerrits has confirmed the news, but the model recently appeared to hint that there was some truth in the reports after the posted a photo of a diamond ring on her wedding finger to Twitter.
This would be the second marriage for Berryman. In 2004, the rocker married his childhood sweetheart Joanna. Their daughter, Nico, was born in 2006, a year before the couple separated. It is understood the former couple remain on good terms.
