Khloe Kardashian has reportedly said she is not giving up on love, despite the fact that she is currently in the process of divorcing her estranged husband.
Kardashian, 29, filed for divorce from basketball star Lamar Odom earlier this year after a number of allegations were made about his behaviour. One such claim was that he had cheated on his wife.
However, a source has now said that the reality television star is not letting her personal troubles affect her thoughts about love.
The insider is quoted by Hollywood Life as saying: "She's young and resilient and can bounce back from this. She's learned how to be patient, understanding and above all, extremely loving. She wants to love a man again, the same way she loved Lamar.
"She's going to take her time though because she hasn't yet healed."
The source added that Kardashian was left "confused" by her estranged husband's behaviour during the final months of their union.
"Lamar was MIA for weeks at a time," they explained. "She wishes that she would have known better or that there was some sort of sign so that she was better prepared for that type of behaviour."
Kardashian and Odom tied the knot in Beverly Hills in September 2009 - exactly one month after they first met at a party held by one of their mutual friends. In December 2013, following months of speculation, it was confirmed that the couple had separated and Kardashian had filed for divorce.
