The couple have reportedly set a $30m budget for their big day – which is to be held in June this year in Paris – but that doesn't appear to have lessened the bride-to-be's stress levels.
A source is quoted by the magazine as saying: "He's impossible to please.
"The family is already eye-rolling about her crazy wedding plans. She and Kanye have a 'go big or go home' attitude."
Another factor said to be dividing the pair is their current home renovation plans. They are believed to be living with Kardashian's mum, Kris Jenner, in California until their $11m mansion is completed, but the 33-year-old wants to be able to settle down.
An insider told Life & Style magazine: "She just wants to be settled. Not squatting in someone else's house.
"The house has a long way to go before they can move in. It's frustrating for Kim.
“He's [Kanye] a total snob when it comes to style, design and architecture.... he thinks nothing of changing direction midway and starting over.
"He's a control freak and flies off the handle when things don't go his way."
Kardashian began dating West in April 2012. In December 2012, it was confirmed the couple were expecting their first child together. They welcomed a daughter, North 'Nori' West, the following June and in October 2013 the pair announced their engagement.
