Writing in her column for new! magazine, Houghton revealed that McIntosh had previously tried to woo her into a relationship. Her comments follow a warning from McIntosh's ex, Rachel Christie, who told Brook that she is not the personal trainer's type.
Taking to the publication, the mother-of-one wrote: "I can't believe Kelly Brook is dating David McIntosh, aka ex-Gladiator Tornado!
"He's been around the block a bit and has dated a few girls in the public eye – he even tried it on with me a few years back.
"He got in touch with me on Facebook and then I bumped into him at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. From then on, he was very keen and kept contacting me. He even sent me a picture of his bare chest while he was in bed in a hotel room."
She continued: "She's [Brook] gone from dating Hollywood stars such as Jason Statham and Billy Zane to seeing Tornado. It's a bit of a comedown. I think she deserves better. Her man radar needs fixing."
Recently, McIntosh spoke to Now magazine about his romance with 34-year-old Brook where he revealed how he met the model.
He explained: "We met through a mutual friend who's a London socialite and invited me to a New Year's Eve party. When I was was there, Kelly and I just started talking, as you do.
"I got chatting to her but I didn't think it was going to go anywhere. Kelly's a nice girl, I like her company. She's a great person and the bet thing about it was we just clicked, so I've been spending a lot of time with her."
He also denied reports that he had moved in with Brook, insisting that they were not rushing in to anything.
"I respect traditional values - that's something that really attracts me to a woman. In this day and age, people are more promiscuous. It's refreshing to meet someone who isn't like that - Kelly's got a good sense of values," he added.
