The couple welcomed their first child together earlier this month.
Last week, it had been claimed that they had chosen to name their baby girl 'Rebecca', but the singer has now denied the story.
Writing in his column for New! magazine, the 40-year-old said the child did not "look like" any of the names they had chosen before her birth.
He admitted: "We still haven't got a name for the baby! We'd narrowed it down to a list of names, but when she was born, she didn't look like any of them when we saw her! So we had to go back to the drawing board.
"There was a story last week claiming we'd chosen the name Rebecca. It's a lovely name but it's not true. Emily's mum's name is Rebecca and because of my old traditions, that's probably how they came up with it. We've still got four weeks left to decide, so she will have a name soon."
Andre and MacDonagh, 23, have been in a relationship since July 2010 and on Monday it was revealed the couple were engaged. While Andre is already a father to Junior, eight, and six-year-old Princess from his former marriage to Katie Price, this is MacDonagh's first child.
