The pair, who were first reported to be in a relationship last year, spent their Christmas holidays in the Caribbean. However, they were not alone as Cowell's ex-girlfriends Sinitta and Terri Seymour also joined them.
A source is quoted as telling Closer magazine: "Lauren was happy for the girls to join them, but she's been saying she wanted to make sure she and Simon had quality time together."
Cowell, 54, and Ms Silverman are currently expecting their first child together. When the news first broke last year, Sinitta - who dated Cowell in the 1980s - was said to have felt "betrayed" by her former partner. She then went on to reveal that she had aborted his baby when they were together. However, the singer-turned-television personality is said to have joined the couple on holiday in order to mend fences following her comments.
The insider added: "Sinitta and Simon had already made peace, but she wanted to ensure things were fine with Lauren, too, so she apologised as soon as she got to Barbados. She said she's truly happy for the couple and doesn't want to come between them."
In July 2013, a US newspaper revealed Simon Cowell was to become a parent for the first time with socialite Lauren Silverman. At the time, 36-year-old Ms Silverman was technically still married to her husband – Andrew Silverman – who was also a close friend of the music mogul.
The Silverman's, who have a seven-year-old son together, finalised their divorce in August 2013.
