Sandor Sturbl, 28, is currently playing the role of Peter Pan in a stage show at Glasgow's Hydro Arena, but last weekend, he changed the show slightly so he could propose to his co-star Lilly-Jane Young – who plays the role of Wendy.
According to the Scottish Daily Record, the show was coming to an end when Sandor got down on one knee and produced a blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Ms Young, 22, then broke down in tears before replying, "Yes". Both their co-stars and the audience erupted in cheers when she accepted the proposal.
Speaking to the publication, Young said: "I feel like the luckiest girl alive and can't wait to marry Sandor. I thought it was a technical hitch and was starting to panic.
"Then Sandor turned to the audience and said, 'Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is usually the moment when Peter Pan gives Wendy a kiss.
"'Lilly-Jane is the love of my life. She's from Glasgow and performing here means the world to her.
"'That's why I want to ask her to marry me.'"
The couple have been in a relationship for more than a year.
