The most popular baby names for Scotland in 2013 have been revealed by the National Records of Scotland.
Jack was found to be the most popular boys' name, with Sophie topping the girls' list.
It means that Jack was the top boys' name for a sixth consecutive year, with Sophie being the most popular girls' name for the ninth year in a row.
Elsewhere for the boys, James, Lewis, Oliver and Daniel rounded out the top five, with Olivia, Emily, Isla and Lucy for the girls, respectively.
While Ethan and Riley dropped out of the boys' top ten, with Lily and Mia falling in popularity for the girls.
National Records of Scotland registered the births of around 26,700 boys and 25,200 girls in the first 11 months of 2013. The top fifty boys' first names accounted for 42% of all those registered and the top fifty girls' first names accounted for 40% of the registrations.
Jack was the first name of just 2.1% of the boys, and Sophie was the first name of only 1.9% of the girls.
Commenting on the findings, Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Culture and External Affairs, said: "It's fascinating to see the names proud parents all over Scotland have picked for their wee ones, and this year's figures show Jack and Sophie remain the most popular.
"Sophie has now been the most popular name for nine years in a row and Jack for six years.
"There were around 26,700 boys and 25,200 girls registered in the first 11 months of 2013, but parents chose over 7,400 different first names for their children, and around 4,800 of these names were unique."
