Tom Daley will reportedly spend Christmas with his boyfriend.
The Olympic diver is said to be planning to spend the holidays with rumoured partner Dustin Lance Black and his family, after an initial introductory meeting went well.
Daley, 19, is said to have been dating 39-year-old Lance Black since the spring, but it was only this month that the sportsman admitted he was in a relationship with a man.
According to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, a source is quoted as saying: "This is a big step for Tom.
"He'd promised his family he'd spend Christmas with them and has loads of plans with his pals so now he'll get to have Dustin with him."
It is understood Daley recently introduced his screenwriter partner to his mother and brothers, and in turn, because the meeting went so well, Lance Black was then invited to spend Christmas with them too.
The teenager has described his relationship with his boyfriend as "love at first sight".
He previously explained: "It really was love at first sight, I'd never felt like anything like it before. We were at a party and I hadn't even spoken to him all night. I didn't know what to do or if he was gay at first.
"I made the first move, I typed 'call me' in his notes with a smiley face on this phone and the next day he texted.
"He makes me feel safe and happy, right now I couldn't be happier.
"I'd never felt the feeling of love, it happened so quickly, I was completely overwhelmed by it to the point I can't get him out of my head all the time. I've never had it before where I love someone and they love me just as much."
