Rachel Riley has separated from her husband after 16 months of marriage.
The decision by the Countdown maths-whizz is said to have left her millionaire husband, Jamie Gilbert, "shocked".
According to The Mirror, no one else is involved in the couple's split, with friends of the couple saying Riley felt they had "grown apart".
Speaking to the paper, a source said Mr Gilbert, 31, was "shocked and stunned", adding: "He has no idea where this has come from.
"Rachel just told him they had grown apart."
Another insider claimed: "They are separated. Rachel is away filming much of the time.
"Jamie's stuff is still at the house so he hasn't technically moved out."
Riley, 27, and Gilbert married in August 2012 – seven years after they first started dating. The couple had dated for four years, then split in 2009, but got back together, announcing their engagement in 2011.
