Last month, Clarkson married her fiancé Brandon Blackstock and she admitted she wants to have children, but speaking to Us Weekly, 31-year-old Clarkson said the British singer told her to focus on her career, rather than start a family.
She explained that Adele warned her off having children by saying: "'Girl, don't have a baby 'cause everything else will go on the back burner. I'm living in baby land!'"
For Clarkson, however, she said she still wants to start a family.
"My eggs aren't getting young! Brandon has two kids and I want two more," she continued.
Clarkson and Blackstock started dating in February 2012, having known each other for a number of years. In December 2012, the couple announced their engagement.
Last month, the former American Idol winner took to her Twitter account to confirm the couple had eloped.
They tied the knot at Blackberry Farm, in Walland, Tennessee, and at the time, Clarkson wrote: "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!"
