Cowell Told To 'Stay Away' From Girlfriends' Son

Simon Cowell has reportedly been told to stay away from his girlfriend's son.

It is understood the 54-year-old's girlfriend, US socialite Lauren Silverman, could face a $50,000 fee if Cowell is in contact with seven-year-old Adam. Reports suggest this is due to a clause in Ms Silverman's divorce agreement with her former husband Andrew.

Earlier this year, Mr Silverman – who was a close friend of the music mogul – filed for divorce after discovering his wife and Cowell allegedly had an affair and were expecting a child together.

According to TMZ.com, the agreement between the Silverman's will last until January 2015, and if Lauren violates the clause three times, she will lose contact with her son until a court can intervene. The settlement is also reveals that Mr Silverman is not to "rubbish" Cowell, and must ensure no one else does so, while in the presence of his son.

In addition, Lauren and her former spouse both agree that their son should only refer to either of them as "mother" and "father".

Shortly after the story first broke during the summer, Andrew included Simon's name as co-respondent when he filed for divorce his partner on the grounds of adultery, but it is now understood the cause of divorce has been changed to "broken down irretrievably".

Cowell and Silverman's child is expected to be born early next year.
