X Factor hopeful Sam Callahan has denied rumours that he is dating fellow contestant Tamera Foster.
During an appearance on The Xtra Factor at the weekend, host Caroline Flack asked the singer about his reported relationship after it was revealed he started following Foster's mum and grandmother on Twitter.
Footage was then released of the pair seemingly appearing to flirt with each other.
However, Callahan dismissed reports that something was going on between them, stating: "Nothing, we're really good friends. We're really close."
He also denied claims that they kissed.
Reports about the pair started to emerge after 16-year-old Foster split from her boyfriend Joshante Amihyia last month. They were said to have broken up due to the pressure of Foster's new-found fame, and while they were only dating for a short period of time, their relationship was the subject of media speculation when it emerged that Foster allegedly stole Joshante from another girl.
