Kosen, who is 2.52m (8ft 3in) tall, married Merve Dibo in a ceremony in Turkey.
The 30-year-old farmer has previously spoken about giving up on love, due to his excessive height, but said: "How unfortunate I could not find a suitable girl of my own size. But in my fiancee I've found the person for me."
Ms Dibo stands at 1.73m (5ft 8in) tall.
Speaking to reporters, Kosen added that he "couldn't be happier" to be married, stating: "Now I will have my own family and private life."
The world's tallest man, who also holds Guinness World Records for the person with the biggest hands – 27.5cm (11ins) long – and feet – 36.5cm (14ins) in length, had to have a suit specially tailored for his big day.
Kosen suffers from a rare disorder called pituitary gigantism, which causes his body to continually produce the growth hormone. Doctors believe his condition was caused by a tumour on his pituitary gland, which was removed in 2008.
He is one of only 10 people ever to grow taller than 8ft.
