West Midlands Police said 30-year-old woman was arrested at an address in Sedgley, Dudley, on Wednesday following a number of complaints by customers.
It has been reported that the wedding goods and services site, which was advertised through Facebook, would accept orders and payments for goods, but the items would never be delivered. When disgruntled companies then tried to contact the company, their calls would go unanswered.
An investigation was then launched by Trading Standards and police after affected brides complained through Action Fraud, the new online fraud investigation service.
The women has been interviewed and police confirmed she has now been released on bail until January while further investigations are carried out.
Investigators from the force’s economic crime unit are appealing to anyone who think they may have been a victim fraud to contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
