Kim Kardashian has revealed she struggled during her pregnancy.
The 33-year-old gave birth to her first child, a girl named North West, in June.
During her pregnancy, the reality television star gained more than three stone, and she said she had been working hard since her daughter's birth to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: "Pregnancy for me was a lot tougher than people saw on my show or from magazines. So to get back to feeling like myself jut makes me feel good again.
"I always envisioned that I would have this easy time just being pregnant, only my belly would get big. And it has just been so no that way for me.
"But sometimes, you just have to take life for what it is and enjoy the ride."
Earlier this week, Kardashian got engaged to her partner Kanye West.
Discussing the proposal, she said: "Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world! I get to marry my best friend!"
The couple have been dating since April 2012, but the rapper has been a friend of the family for a number of years. In December 2012, they confirmed they were expecting their first child together and in June, Kardashian gave birth to their daughter – North 'Nori' West.
