It is understood she is also seeking physical custody of the couple's 16-year-old daughter Morgan, People.com has reported.
Recently, Dina requested that her petition for a legal separation from her husband he dismissed, leading to speculation that the couple were working through their problems. However, court documents have now been filed at Monterey County Superior Court in California to legally dissolve the Eastwood's 17-year marriage.
Dina has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the couple's separation.
In addition to physical custody of their daughter, the former news reporter is also requesting spousal support and that her attorney fees be paid by her estranged partner.
The 48-year-old revealed in August that the couple had amicably gone their separate ways a while ago, and described the breakdown of the marriage as "unreal and heart-breaking".
Taking to Twitter, she initially confessed that they remained good friends, writing: "I don't like reading negative things about Clint.
"He is a wonderful, good natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that."
However, she later admitted she was upset when photographs revealed her husband was dating her former friend, Erica Tomlinson-Fisher. This is despite reports that Dina herself is dating Erica's ex-husband Scott Fisher.
She wrote: "I am saddened to see photos of Clint with Ms. Tomlinson-Fisher. I look forward to new beginnings."
The Eastwoods began dating after Dina interviewed him in 1993. They tied the knot in March 1996 at a private ceremony at their home in Las Vegas. Their daughter, Morgan, was born in December 1996.
