Hollyoaks' Star Unveils Engagement

Former Hollyoaks star Ali Bastian has confirmed she is engaged.

The actress revealed the news via her Twitter account, adding that her partner – musician Tom Clay – proposed earlier this year.

She wrote: "So I have some more exciting news...


"Earlier this summer, on our holiday in Greece, on a moonlit beach, my wonderful man @Tomclaymusic made me the happiest girl in the world, by getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him."

She also posted a photo of her engagement ring with the caption: "I said yes!!"

The 31-year-old was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages, and she later tweeted: "We're really touched by all your kind words, thank you so so much."
