The study, which was carried out by BoostApak, found that mothers also spend £17,14.04 on petrol every year by the time the school run, journeys to their children's sports clubs and their friend's houses are included.
A total of 2,000 mothers were polled and it was revealed that mothers spend around two weeks each year by driving their kids to different places. Broken down, this is around an hour each day, or six hours and 43 minutes each week.
Elsewhere, the survey discovered that busy mums call on their family and friends to help get their offspring to where they are needed to be, with 46% of grandparents already having a booster seat they can use for the children when needed.
A further two-thirds of mums said they also ended up driving around their friends' or relatives' children as well. These journeys alone are believed to add an additional 576 miles a year.
Rob Law, a spokesman for BoostApak, said: "We aren't surprised to see how much time mums spend driving their children to various places.
"Children have so many after school clubs and other activities to take part in during the week, and if mum has more than one child to take to different clubs, the mileage will soon add up.
"School is probably the most common trip that mums have to make, followed by swimming classes and other sports clubs.
"Parties and visiting friends' houses are other reasons behind multiple trips. Mum might take her eldest to a friend's house while the youngest needs to go to swimming club - such a hectic schedule.
"It's because of these numerous trips that the fuel bill is so big, but we don't think mums would have it any other way unless it was absolutely necessary.
"Mums will do anything to make their children happy and you can tell this just from these results."
