According to British magazine Closer, the rapper wants his partner to step away from the "invasive" show now that they have a family.
In June, the couple welcomed their first together, a daughter named North, and it has previously been reported that they both have different opinions on how they should raise their child, with the rapper wanting to shield his baby girl from the media.
Kardashian, who shot to fame as a result of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is now said to be considering leaving the show to focus on her relationship with West.
Ever since the birth of her daughter, Kardashian has been keeping a very-low profile. Last Wednesday, she was spotted in Los Angeles with her boyfriend and baby – the first time since June.
A source is quoted by the magazine as saying: "It sounds dramatic, but Kanye's told Kim he wants her to quit the show for the sake of their romance, and for the baby. He doesn't like how invasive the show is on everyone's personal lives and despite appearing on it for a few brief scenes, he has said he won't make another cameo.
"He told her that, if she walks away from reality, he'll marry her tomorrow."
They added: "She wants to give the relationship her best shot, so she's told Kanye she's considering it but at the same time, she knows it would hurt her mom [Kris Jenner] if she left the show.
"She's been trying to keep aspects of her personal life off camera. As a new mom, she's fiercely protective of North. Kanye and North are her priorities and fame and being a celebrity aren't as important."
