The pair were recently spotted spending time together at London's Covent Garden.
According to The Mirror, 52-year-old Farleigh is quoted as saying a friend had set them up and they "had a good time".
He added: "It turns out that we have a lot of mutual friends together, so we arranged a date to meet. It was set up by someone who knows her, who I do business with.
"We had fun, we're both single. She's single, and I've been split from my ex-girlfriend Camilla for the last five years, so why not meet?"
He added: "We only met that one time and there's no date in the diary yet to meet again, but who knows?
"We had a good time. She's a lovely lady. We talked about what it's like to be in the limelight."
Turner split from her long-time husband, Grant Bovey, in June following allegations that he had been unfaithful.
Bovey, a property developer, left his previous wife for the former Dancing on Ice star in 1998, before they tied the knot in 2000.
