According to Spain's Vanitas magazine, the couple have now registered the name of the child after she was born on 22 July.
The couple, who started dating in 2007 and tied the knot in July 2010, already have one child together, a son named Leonardo who was born in January 2011.
Luna means 'moon' in Spanish, while Encinas is Javier's paternal surname and is said to translate as 'live oak'.
Shortly after welcoming their first child into the world, 39-year-old Cruz said motherhood had changed her life.
"From the first second, you feel so much love. It is a revolutionary experience. That's the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment, when you see that face, you are transformed forever."
