A representative for the 27-year-old actress confirmed the news to the New York Post.
They said: "I can firm Megan is expecting her second child with her husband Brian, they are both very happy."
Fox, who is currently filming 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' is believed to be in the early stages of pregnancy, but kept the news quiet so it wouldn't interfere with her work.
The actress and her husband first started dating in 2004. They became engaged in 2006, but they separated in February 2009. In June 2010, the couple revealed their engagement, tying the knot that same month in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii.
The couple already have a son, Noah, who was born in September 2012. They were able to keep the news of his birth secret for two weeks before Fox took to her Facebook page to confirm the rumours.
She wrote: "We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love.
"Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes."
Fox is also a stepmother to her husband's 11-year-old son Kassius, from a previous relationship.
