Last month, it was revealed Kelly Osborne had become engaged to her boyfriend Matthew Mosshart.
However, the television personality has now revealed the couple actually got engaged last year but decided to keep the news a secret.
In an interview with daytime panel show, The Talk, earlier this week, the 28-year-old said they had been engaged for six months. She was explaining how she had been trying to keep her private life under wraps, saying: "People know we got engaged in December of last year, but kept it a secret for six months.
"I realised very quickly that in Hollywood people don't realise that you get married for love, they think you get married for attention and I don't want to do a reality show. I've already done that."
Ms Osborne was referring to her family's reality TV show, The Osbournes, where she shot to fame.
She added: "Like, every morning I wake up to another email and it's like: 'An offer you cannot refuse.' I'm like: 'I can refuse that. I don't want to be on another reality show, I'm fine right now. Thank you.'"
In December, there were rumours that Osborne had accepted her partner's proposal, but at the time she implied the reports were false, taking to her Twitter account to say: "Don't believe everything you read."
