According to Digital Spy, Swiss media are reporting that more than 120 guests were invited to the Buddhist-inspired party, with David Bowie, Sade and Oprah Winfrey among the stars who attended.
A spokeswoman for Zurich Police, Esther Surber, is quoted as saying authorities have temporarily barred boats on Lake Zurich from going near Turner's Chateau Algonquin estate. It is thought the move is to prevent onlookers from causing accidents on the waterway.
Earlier this month, reports began to emerge that the couple were planning to marry, but last week, municipal official Hanness Friess confirmed to AFP that the pair married in a private ceremony "a few days ago".
It is understood that they married on the banks of Lake Zurich.
Turner, 73, and Bach, 57, who is a German music executive and the singer's long-time partner, first met in 1985 at a record label party in London. They began dating almost a year later and have been together ever since.
In 1994, the singer moved to Zurich, and in January 2013 it was revealed that Turner had applied for Swizz citizenship, therefore renouncing her US citizenship. She was officially declared a citizen of Switzerland in April, and around this time it was reported that the couple got engaged.
Turner was previously involved in a long-term relationship with former musical partner Ike Turner.
