Former Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger has said she is "lonely" after splitting from her partner of five years, Lewis Hamilton.
According to a report by Closer, the 35-year-old now takes her publicist and assistant on dates to keep her mind off the split.
She added that she has thrown herself into her work to help keep herself busy.
Speaking for the first time since the couple split earlier this month, Scherzinger admitted: "I don't have anyone here, I don't have my family, I don't even have any friends here. My publicist is my closest friend.
"It gets lonely but I'm working all the time. If I'm not doing X Factor I put myself in the studio.
"You just make those sacrifices and they made me feel so at home last year. It is hard but you always make those sacrifices and it's worth it."
Scherzinger, who has returned to The X Factor UK for a second series, added that the free time she does have, she spends exploring London and taking her publicist Becky Lockett and her assistant on dates.
"I also love good food, so I'm getting to explore lots of different restaurants here. I take my publicist and my assistant as my dates, literally," she admitted.
