LeAnn Rimes has denied rumours that she is expecting her first child.
The singer took to her Twitter page to deny the claims, which are said to have been reported in Star Magazine.
Rimes, 30, wrote: "LMAO Star Magazine!
"I don't know if you dr the pics of pic the worst one you can find, but I'm far from pregnant & just dropped a jean size."
When one of her followers hit out at the paper for suggesting the star was overweight because she might be pregnant, the singer replied: "or they blow me up to twice my size to make me look 'pregnant' and then 'politely' say it....asses lol."
Other fans took to the social networking site to praise Rimes, claiming she would make a good mother.
She replied: "You're sweet thank you! I am enjoying being the best bonus mum I can be for now."
Rimes married dancer Dean Sheremet in 2002, but they separated in 2009 after it was revealed that the singer was having an affair with married father-of-two Eddie Cibrian.
Both Rimes and Cibrian subsequently ended their marriages, and in December 2010 it was announced that the couple were engaged.
They married in April 2011 in California.
