Jools Oliver Wants Another Baby

Jools Oliver, wife to celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, has said she would like another child.

The mum-of-four was speaking at the launch of her Christmas collection of her Little Bird children’s clothing range.

She added that the desire for another child was to delay the onset of 'empty nest' syndrome.

The syndrome is usually found in parents with children in their 20s, but Jools has said she is already worrying about the day her children move out of the home.

The 38-year-old has four young children with her husband – Poppy, 11, Daisy Boo, 10, Petal, 4, and Buddy, 2 – but says her worries started as her eldest daughter prepares to move from primary school to secondary school.

She said: "As they get older it's quite emotional. It's a big change because she [Poppy] is going to secondary school. I spent most of this week just crying.

"I find it really hard, I'm really attached to the children and she's the first one so the whole thing is a lot for me to take in but it is going to happen and empty nest will happen soon.

"I think 'well he [Buddy] is only two and a half' but then I see how quickly Poppy [growing up] has gone. Maybe I'll have another one."

Mrs Oliver who has Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, had her first child through IVF treatment but conceived the other three naturally.
