Singer Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly hinted about her split from boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
According to The Sun, the former Pussycat Dolls member was said to have made the comments after an X Factor hopeful auditioned in Cardiff.
Scherzinger, who is a judge on the UK talent show, is reported to have told the hopeful – who sang a break-up song – that it "pulled on my heartstrings."
She then went on to talk about feeling lonely following the end of a relationship, saying: "It sucks doesn't it? Really sucks."
The 35-year-old is alleged to have recently split from Formula 1 driver Hamilton after five years together. It is thought their busy work schedules was the main factor in the separation.
The couple first began dating in 2007 after they met at the MTV Awards. They split for four months in 2010, but reunited. In 2011, they denied rumours that they had got engaged.
Just last month, there were reports that Hamilton, 28, was preparing to propose to the singer.
