The Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill 2013, if passed, would allow abortion to be carried out in limited circumstances.
The issue has caused divisions among the coalition government, with the Belfast Telegraph suggesting there could be a backbench revolt.
According to the publication, four Fine Gael TDs have confirmed they will not support the legislation, which will allow limited abortion in Ireland, while up to six others, including junior minister Lucinda Creighton, are expected to vote against the new ruling.
The Minister for European Affairs has previously said she would vote "according to her conscience".
The legislation would allow terminations to be carried out where there is a threat to the life of the mother, or where there is medical consensus that the woman would take her own life over her pregnancy.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny has already ruled out Ms Creighton's request to remove the suicide clause.
On Monday, a debate regarding the issue lasted for more than nine hours, with almost 40 TDs speaking in the Dáil.
