The pair were spotted at London's G-A-Y club on Saturday night, according to The Sun.
A witness at the club is quoted by the publication as saying: "The Wanted went to the VIP section backstage after they had performed.
"Lucy came with a friend after Max invited them in and they spent the entire time cuddling and kissing. They were very affectionate and were constantly flirting. They arrived in the backstage area around 3am and later left together.
"They looked like they were really into each other from the way they were touching and only moved away from each other for pictures with fans."
A friend of the TOWIE star added: "It is early days. Lucy really likes Max but she isn't going to jump into anything serious too quickly."
Just last week, 24-year-old George denied that the couple were dating.
"No, there's nothing.
"We followed each other on Twitter but I think people just assumed we were texting or whatever. Don't get me wrong, I've seen pictures of her and she's very attractive! So I was pretty flattered, to be honest," he said.
