Russell Brand is reported to be dating hotel heiress Alessandra Balazs.
The comedian is said to have been dating the 23-year-old daughter of hotelier André Balazs for a few months, according to the Mail Online.
Brand and Balazs were first spotted dining together in Venice Beach, California, before they visited nearby Catalina Island with friends of the comedian.
A source told the publication: "Russell and Alessandra have been quietly dating for a few months now and [have] even gone on holidays together, and, he took her to London with him.
"They really are so cute together – I wish she wasn't so camera shy."
In a strange twist, Balazs's 56-year-old father is currently dating 38-year-old American comedienne Chelsea Handler, and those close to the family find the romantic coincidences amusing.
The source added: "It is quite funny that a father and daughter are dating two comedians the same age."
Ms Balazs currently resides in both New York City and Los Angeles while Brand is primarily based in California. The pair are said to regularly travel thousands of miles from coast to coast to spend time with one another.
"She and Russell fly back and forth to see each other," the insider concluded.
Brand, 38, finalised his divorce from singer Katy Perry last year. The notorious ladies' man has since been linked to a number of women, including Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Australian presenter Kate Peck.
