News of the 37-year-old's pregnancy was revealed yesterday, but according to The Sun, Winslet and her husband have already been picking out baby names.
It is thought the couple are looking at names that have a personal connection to them.
In 2011, Winslet rescued Branson's mother from a fire at the Virgin boss's Necker Island home. It was also the same vacation where the Hollywood actress met her husband and nephew of Branson, Ned Rocknroll, and the couple believe naming their baby- if it is a girl – will create a link between the two families.
A source told the paper: "Eve is one of the names Ned and Kate have thought of. They want it to mean something and it would be a great reminder of how they met – and can keep a strong connection with Ned's family."
Winslet has a 12-year-old daughter, Mia, from her first marriage to director Jim Threapleton, and a nine-year-old son, Joe, from her second marriage to Skyfall director Sam Mendes.
This will be the first child for Winslet and Rocknroll. The couple met in August 2011 and began dating shortly after. They announced their engagement in the summer of 20102 ad married in a private ceremony in New York in December 2012.
