Speaking to Star magazine, The Saturdays singer revealed that seeing her bandmate Rochelle's baby last month has made her even more excited to become a mother.
Rochelle and her JLS star husband, Marvin Humes, welcomed their first child – a baby girl called Alaia-Mai – on 20 May.
When asked about her bandmate's new status as a mother, 24-year-old Sandford said: "It's making me really impatient! I'm like, 'Oh I want it to be out now'."
She also insisted that she would continue her duties with the band, just as her fellow members did when they were pregnant, but when it came to the dance routines, she added she "might have to slightly lower the heel".
Sandford also admitted both herself and fiancé Wayne Bridge would "probably" find out the sex of their baby before she gives birth.
The singer, who recently said she is craving alcohol and strawberries since becoming pregnant, announced her pregnancy last month. The news came just weeks after Sandford confirmed her footballer-boyfriend had proposed to her.
The couple have been dating since September 2010.
