Women Are 'More Likely To Cheat' Than Men

A new survey has revealed that women are more likely to have a fling than men.

According to the survey, which was conducted by dating site, Casuals, four in ten women were found to have cheated on their partner. This compares to only 12% of men who were polled.

When it came to thinking of having a fling whilst being in a relationship, three quarters of men said they had considered it. However, 85% of their female counterparts admitted to considering a fling.

The survey looked at one night stands as well as long-term affairs and once again, more women were found to rank higher, with 14% of women admitting they had indulged in an affair, compared to just 4% of men.

The 18 to 24 age group were found to be more likely to have a one night stand, whereas the older generations would have an affair.

Anthony Wright from Casuals dating site, said: "It shows that while older adults are involved in long-term relationships, they're not necessarily with the person they originally intended.

"These figures are the complete opposite to what we were expecting. Alternatively, they could just mean that women were more honest about their dishonesty!"
