It has been confirmed that Kim Karsdashian and Kanye West are expecting a baby girl.
The news was confirmed during the season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians on Sunday night.
On discovering the sex of her unborn child, the reality television star said: "I'm so excited we're having a girl. Who doesn't want a girl? They're the best and I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl."
Kardashian was joined at the ultrasound by her mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloe and Kourtney, while West did not appear.
Earlier this month, it was rumoured the couple were preparing for a summer wedding following the birth of their first child. However, both Kardashian and West denied the speculation, saying they were not engaged and had no plans to marry "any time soon".
The couple's baby daughter is thought to be due in July.
West has been a friend to the Kardashian family for a number of years, but he only started dating Kim in April 2012.
